My Thoughts: The alternating stories of Henry and Margot flipped between the present, with their chance encounter in 2012, to 1991, when the two of them fell in love.

They came from different worlds, and I love this kind of story. So much divided them that the chance of them meeting and connecting at all seems unlikely. And then the serendipitous meeting on the street is another moment in time that could have been fate.

How they were shockingly separated one summer night left indelible marks upon them. One might have expected that one of them would search for the other, their lost love. But each had their own reasons why they couldn’t do that.

Until that day in 2012 when they met on the street. And the pull of their intense connection stirred up feelings that had never left them.

They each have secrets to share, secrets that could bring another rift into their relationship. How will they move beyond the divide? What will ultimately bring them together again?

An engaging story that I could not put down. 5 stars.

If you've truly loved someone and moved on, this book will speak to you. It is a fast read, the characters are vivid and the impact is high as a result. It was meaningful to me. I won't forget it. I want to know what happened next...
I think Mr. Greene could write about garbage collectors and it would be a love!y read. He has the gifted ability to weave words into tapestries that hold on to your heart long after you finish the book. And yes, this was also a great story.
Cliche' but couldn't put it down. I highlighted enough passages to compile my personal journey book. Such poignant touches brought me to tears of laughter and longing. Loved it.
The book, If I Forget You, by T. C. Greene, is excellent. I just handed it to a friend to read.
It is fascinating and I really like the style in which it is written. Leaves one with a pleasant
feeling. Seems I know, personally, the main characters.

This story was a little "off beat," but enjoyable. Just for your info, it's not about Alzheimers.
This author always writes great books. You must read all of his books. This book is a love story but it is an older person's love story and there are so few of those around. A mature love story. You must read the book.
Anyone who's ever fallen in love in their 20s and lost contact with a person who meant the world to them will savor this lyrical, sensitive book. While the idea of reuniting a lifetime later isn't original, Greene's characters are unique and vivid and the writing is fluid and poetic in places. It gets 4 stars instead of 5 from me because it's more like a novella than a novel. Although the author certainly ties up loose strings, readers may be left wanting more, reluctant to leave the story and the characters.
