I loved loved loved book one. I kept giggling and rolling my eyes and dying for the next page... and then it ended in a stupid cliffhanger.

For the record I hate cliffhangers like there was in book one, I really do. Often times it gives the author to lose a sense of what the character is like, or IDK When I read a romance I am looking for a happily ever after and dishing out more $$ for an unfinished story is just bleah.

I don't find a character that jumps from one bed to another 'strong' or, gawd I keep saying 'whatever'. I find myself skipping through the sexy bits with Keith because I really don't want my heroine to be some... well... indecisive slut, and I keep hoping NOTHING HAPPENS between them and she can patch up that sexy funny romance with Dalton and clear up the misunderstanding. I'm finding it hard to have any sympathy for her, and I really don't want to finish reading book 2. If it had been a story about a woman out to discover herself and be adventuresome, fine, but it's not. It's about someone falling for one guy...and unsure of her feelings and how to talk things out, flirsts with another, and then goes and falls into another bed.. and ..flirts with another... and desperate for love.

And I can't believe I keep buying stupid cliffhangers.

This is the story of Peaches as she gets caught up in LA LA Land. She finds out that Dalton isn't quite who she thought and meets some interesting characters at her underwear shoot. Mitchell is a hoot and is a good friend to Peaches, and heaven knows she needs a BFF in that town. I absolutely fell in love with Keith and wanted him for my very own. Tantric sex? WOW! Who wouldn't want their very own male underwear model? He seems like a nice, down to earth kind of guy too. Peaches has a lot on her plate with life in LA. We learn a little more about Peaches and she seems to do a little bit of growing and backsliding, but she's young and she has lots of time, so the story meanders along.
I live in Washington, and no one I know talks like the characters in the story. It's obviously written by a non-American, but it's not so offputting that I don't enjoy it. I've made the journey this far and I have enjoyed myself along the way, so I'll continue on with Peaches to see where this leads. I like the fact that there aren't the constant grammatical errors that seem so prevalent in books today. It makes reading more enjoyable.
If you are looking for some "escape from everyday life" reading, and you're young at heart, I recommend following the adventures of Peaches Monroe.
I was hoping this book would be better than the first one, but NO it wasn't. This book showed Peaches undoubted more of a slut . Here she shacks up with Keith a male model. First night, she goes for oral sex, just as she did with Dalton, not a care as who or where he had his penis. To beat all she always swallows it. Gag me with a maggot!!!!!!!!!. I am so disgusted with this series, the only reason I'm reading it is I paid good money for the series when I thought it was going to be really good. I don't mind spicy sex if it is written with good taste, but this stuff is just plain garbage. I will not waste my time reading book 3.
I laughed until I was crying this book and Peaches was so funny. I am torn with who I want to see Peaches with, Keith is so sweet and good for her but Dalton seems to always be there to pick her up and dust her off.
Can't wait until December for the next installment. A great read, yes different was the first novel but still a terrific read and time well spent in my opinion. Thanks Mimi!
After I read the first book I liked forward to this one but......(SPOILERS)************************this girl is not a sweet girl really looking for love who is insecure, book 2 portrays her terribly. She over reacts to a situation, jumps into a stranger bed AGAIN, now that it's a pattern it's just trashy not whimsical. Still says she loves Dalton, but clearly she's only looking for her next sexual release. And then we find out her baby brother is her son, and she supposedly is tormented by giving him up to her parents......she's crazy, and clearly has always been a little too free with letting any man into her kitty. She doesn't deserve any of the guys she's toying with, and using her "in insecure because I'm chubby" excuse is pathetic. I enjoyed book one but book two just changed the premise of this girl showing her as an irresponsible trashy flake who makes bad choices over and over and is too stupid to stop and think a man having sex with her redeems her somehow. This author destroyed this character that I really liked.
I have to say that I'm really disappointed already with the 2nd book. Might be refunding this book because I looked forward to more things. I think that I should have just stopped at book one but what can you do when it ends with a cliffhanger. Of course you have to keep reading to find out what happens. But I think for this series, it's going to be a no no. I quite frankly do not recommend this book to anyone. Sorry for being blunt but it's my opinion.

I was really disappointed because I was looking forward to more of peaches and dalton. But of course she meets a male model and they become friends with benefits. I think at this point I was really rooting for Keith (the male model). Practically the whole book was about peaches and Keith until she went back home. And on top of that, dalton comes back into her life back in her hometown again and then she goes straight for Adrian. Like seriously!!!! Who does that. It's like she's have rebounds left to right. So all in all, this book is going back for a refund.
